Benjamin Franklin Award Winner for Popular Fiction
Memphis writer Jim Bailey was recently named among the winners of the Benjamin Franklin Awards™ for his debut novel, The End of Healing. The End of Healing was a Silver Medalist in the Popular Fiction category of the Benjamin Franklin Awards. The award was announced during a gala awards ceremony held Friday, April 8, 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Click here to download the press release.
An annual awards competition named in honor of America’s most cherished publisher/printer, the Benjamin Franklin Award recognizes excellence in independent publishing. In this prestigious awards program, publications are grouped by genre and judged on editorial and design merit by top practitioners in each field. The Benjamin Franklin Award is sponsored by the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA), the largest not-for-profit trade association in the book industry. This year’s awards competition garnered nearly 1400 individual entries.
